There is something truly awakening in the words of Alan Watts here. He is talking about miracle. The moment is all there is. I feel like the oak tree watching the humans busily going about their business in this odd system. I am conscious and inspired by life and love. I get Goosebumps when listening to this. This is where I engage. When I get those hairs go up on the back of my neck. I need to feel it really feel it for me to get excited or interested. I am magical and imaginative and wont shy away from these attributes anymore. I am relaxed and able to sit in chaos. My magic is intangible and I can sit here waiting just waiting and now I see it. Opportunities take time to arrive and I acknowledge I am both a slob and a pioneer.

Keep my eyes open within the mundane and everyday and I can see beauty and chance and the wonder of life. There is a Japanese principle called jeje mugi, which means every event implies all others. Nothing is separate. We are all of it, neither free nor determined, neither voluntary nor involuntary.

‘THE BIG HAPPENING’.

Stop clutching at life, don’t attempt to capture pleasure. It’s like the Tao. The more you let it go the more it stays. I have realised that my foolish side my lazy side is strong and free to daydream, not my ego and will.

YOU CANNOT TAKE HOLD OF IT. YOU CNNOT GET RID OF IT. IN NOT BEING ABLE TO GET IT YOU GET IT. WHEN YOU ARE SILENT IT SPEAKS. WHEN YOU SPEAK IT IS SILENT.

THE GREAT GATE IS WIDE OPEN AND NOBODY IS OBSTRUCTING IT.
